|(1) COMPOSITION -CONTENT - I look at this, and I cannot be sure what you want me to focus on. The title says “Irish Moss”, and I don’t know what that really is. When I look at the photo, I see two subjects – the two large leaves on the right, and the finer vegetation on the right. In addition, all the bright spots to the right of the leaves are distracting to me.|
(2) BACKGROUND - See comment above. The photo is very busy. Lots of things to look at, and I don’t think that all of them are your primary subject.
(3) CAMERA WORK -TECHNICAL – The primary areas all appear to be in focus, and properly processed. I’m guessing that you used the on-camera flash. All the resulting bright spots are highly distracting. This may have been eliminated with more indirect lighting; though I can understand where this may have been difficult to get.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING - TECHNICAL - Looks pretty good to me.
(5) YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - Overall, an average ,but good, photo. The positives – a unique subject photographed technically well, are balanced by the negatives – what’s the main subject, and the multiple spotty bright reflections.
