A quick HDR I did while on a bike ride from Leipzig to Dresden. This small town called Grimma suffered from massive damage during the flooding of the river Mulde in 2002, the same flooding that also sank my parents house near the river Elbe.
The destroyed Pöppelmann bridge from 1719 still hasn't been rebuilt...

This is great image, it gives the viewer a feeling of real depth and that broekn bridge adds an extra level of interest, it could almost be from a fariy tale...

This might help. ;-(
The viewpoint of the helicopter is exactly overhead from where i took the photo on the bigger asphalt bridge.
If I were to decide whether to rebuilt the bridge or not I would leave it as it is, as a reminder for people that nature can be cruel if humans don't play by its rules...
