Thanks for all the comments, really appreciate it.

for all of you that talk about the tilted horizon, i just want to say that the horizon is not tilted it is a hill or a slobe.

for all the comments about the corn i want to refer to Rachel's comment

Man this is a brilliant setting and idea...but the horizen is tilted, the sky blown and the ptential for this is so much more. 6

Good shot. Would have preferred the horizon to be straight.

I love the tones in the front area and on the kiddo.. I think the dark green trees in the background are somewhat distracting. His face and hair are awesome!! 8

Um, he's not in corn.

you do know that's not corn right?? Ha..

the DOF is good, I might have gone a bit shallower to "kill" the trees in the background. 6

There only one child, two, according to the title, would probably have been better.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm no farmer), but that looks more like wheat or some sort of grain than corn. Still, I do like the picture and use of depth of field. The trees sticking up in the background are a little distracting for me.

This could have been a great shot except for the white sky and the tilted horizon.

Outstanding DOF. Wish the tree line on the left was consistent. Not really corn. 7

Wow! The depth of field is great although. The subject really popped out but I wonder if he had been a little more distant from the front if that may have had more effect.

The child may not be in an actual corn field, but it is sure a great photo. Success to you!

Great shot! Love the DOF and bokeh.

I like this shot but the "tilted" horizon is very distracting and it sounds petty but it's odd to have a shot captioned "Children of the Corn" with a child standing in a wheat field.

Awesome picture, but that's not corn

Is that corn? that looks like wheat or other kind of grass
08/12/2009 02:10:59 AM
I really like this, i bet many will tell you the horizon is tilted but it doesn't bother me much in this image because its a clear tilt rather than one of those annoying slight ones :P 9 from me.
