Another lame challenge description. Any photograph that has a "main subject" is already starting to bore me. I'm posting this photo for people who see beyond subject. I hope they appreciate this. Just curves to up brightness and contrast and hue/sat to bring down the color.

The funny thing is that the main subject in this photograph is a square! I don't recall how I came upon this tonight, but the first thing I saw was the implied right angle of the rope in his hand, then his elbow. Square squared!

Greetings from Andi via the Critique Club

First Impression: Didn't have you down for shooting this Don however I did think that rather than a shot at the brown this was more about making a statement and guess you suceeded ;)

Composition: I like your composition, a nicely filled frame with something to look at where ever your eyes fall.

Subject: I've looked at this for a little while now and been counting the 'implied' or part squares and tbh for me it actually fits the challenge topic well

Technical: Good exposure and focus apart from the ropes that look a little blown out for me and would have preferred some more detail in them though am guessing its white nylon in which case even properly exposed they would appear blown.

Final thoughts: Brown Ribbon material? maybe if it was posted in the circles challenge. No, it was never going to score highly but a 3.7 was undeserved imho and kudos for thinking out of the square!

Not sure how this meets the challenge without the title.

Sorry, I don't get a feeling of energy in this photo at all, and what's squared?

Sounds like some sort of physics concept is required to understand how this image connects to squares. Nice color and cropping on the image.

stretching the point a bit not quite sure where the squared is coming in. I think this photo would be quite nice in B&W with a bit of grain would capture the energy in the bloke even more.

I get the idea, but I think this doesn't really meet the square idea (in terms of catching it in the image). I do like the picture though.
