Charles Arthur Erickson, Canadian Architect and urban planner (June 14, 1924 – May 20, 2009}

This is a detail of the Museum of Anthropology (designed by him) overlooking the most westerly coastal bluff in Vancouver, BC. It opened in 1976. I hope to show both the present condition of materials and the unique textural characteristics of the concrete after weathering for 36 years in the Northwest.

Oh there is so much about this that I like. Starting off with the B&W conversion and the vignette. The image itself is so simple and yet... Great stuff.
