 At the Santa Paula Union Oil Museum, a working iron and timber oil drilling rig operates on the premises for display purposes. The rig dates back to 1900. I spent the morning at this museum and my tour guide "Barry" was kind enough to take me on a tour of the premises which was the original headquarters for Union Oil Company in Santa Paula, California. A fascinating piece of California history.
