 The Image: I haven't entered anything for a couple fo weeks and I do like shooting macro bubbles. I put water into a red brandy glass with some dishwashing liquid. I used a skewer to get the bubbles just right. For lighting I used two flouro softboxes. I tried a few different shots.

The Edit: Duplicate layer, multiply, pull back opacity, USM, Colour balance, vibrance, Noise Ninja, selective blur, dodge and burn, curves...I threw it all at this image.

Prediction: I want this to do well, so over 6.5 would be nice. The problem is that this user is not really that active on dpc, but I am guessing most won't be.

Very nice. The colors in particular look beautiful.
Only one minor gripe: It's not totally clear where
the focus is. There are some bubbles that are not
sharp (for example, in the right upper corner).
I believe I would like this even more if everything
was in focus. (8)
