 My mom, Jeanette, a beautiful lady inside and out. I took this on a recent visit home. She dislikes having her photo taken, but was kind enough to sit for this informal portrait. "Jeanie Q" (various spellings) is a nickname.

I sharpened this in post-processing because DPC tends to like super-sharp images, but I'm afraid it makes her "character grooves" look stronger than in real life. :-)

Oh my gosh, your mother is BEAUTIFUL!! She's certainly not anywhere near old enough to have a son your age (not that you're old, but you know what I mean!) Lovely crystal clear blue eyes. Fabulous portrait.

Look at all those laugh lines. She looks like a wonderful person. She radiates a sense of joy and also strength. This is definitely a photo a mom would love :)
