 My mom and Boo. Mom was feeling well enough to come over to the house. So we took pictures. Probably not the greatest, but it is good of her. She is 87.

I think this is an excellent portrait! Incredibly crisp, clean, nice light, excellent background and a great smile from your subject! A very good portrait indeed.

Actually, I think you did good with this. It's a very sweet looking picture, especially with Boo (love that name!). Personally, I think she looks pretty good for being 87!
