Greetings from the Critique Club

As far as meeting the challenge is concerned, this one does, but it's not extremely original. There were several images with a similar subject, so you may have been dinged on your score due to lack of originality.

The composition is OK, although the background is quite busy. You may have been able to isolate the flowers a bit better by opening up the aperture thus blurring the background a bit better. It would also have allowed you to use a faster shutter speed which should have given you a sharper image.

Technicals. The lighting appears to be a bit flat leaving the image a little bit dull. You could possibly have boosted this a bit in post processing. Speaking of post processing to my eye the image seems to be a little bit over sharp. Could just be my eyes, but...

I really like this one. The colors are just great and the sequence of life to death that you captured is wonderful. Clarity is a little off and some soft light would have really made this one pop.

Great colors. I like the motion from top to bottom, left to right, front to back. This picture moves. Though I think the background could be blurred a bit more to really bring the subjects to the forefront.

The background is very interesting in this photo.
