 Little critter that I followed onto a leaf.

Rotated so the mean angle of the mid step was horizontal. Cropped to remove all but the leaf, and cloned the whole he munched.

Extracted the midtones and shadows into two separate masks and did a curves adjustment in each layer.

USM for contrast and sharpening.

I like the patterns here. Backlighting does wonderful things to leaves.
