Location: Pershing Square, Los Angeles, California

This pigeon photo was taken at Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles. One of the homeless people became very helpful to feed the pigeons while I took some photos. Otherwise, pigeons really are the laziest models in the world!

Love the sense of motion here. Too bad some of the voters didn't "get it".

A tie for the Bronze Bear award from me for this lovingly-rendered, strikingly textured image that captures the somewhat muddy, imprecise nature of a pigeon's flight.

The bird looks great. I would love to see this against a black BG.

I like the motion shown, but the overall feel is pretty harsh.

Very abstract and interesting. The head is focused quite well which gives this shot much more strength.

The motion blurs seem a little too messy to me, but very beautiful colors.
