Had my camera hand held and the 70-210 canon lens fitted but with macro extension rings in between lens and camera body so no control over aperture. I'm pretty sure I shot in manual for flexibility and the shutter speed was 1/200.

Drops into a small cooking dish about 1 inch deep from a plastic sandwhich bag with a pin hole in. Bag was about 1 foot above the dish. Used white plastic board behind the dish opposite camera to bounce on-camera flash for smoother tone.

wonderful tonality! i usually don't give a damn about waterdrop shot, but this one really grabs me with a serene and misterious atmosphere, and the b&w conversion tops it off.
