 This is blue clay that compacted and settled on a hillside that was eroded by rain. I feel this meets the challenge and hope it does well.

Not really sure of the motivation behind this photo. Are you trying to show the damage of man on the earth?? The ground in the upper left and right corners is not attractive. With a title to reflect it, you could have made a political statement and made it even more dramatic with a slight angle change and crop change
