Greetings from the Critique Club,
Hi Kathe! I'm pleased to have drawn this entry, as I am not that familiar with your work and this prompted me to go take a look at your portfolio - I will be back by there shortly - you have some lovely stuff!
This got a 7 from me in the challenge. I love the gentle light here, and the detail you've caught with the dew, particularly on the stem. Colors work well together, and this is a nicely different view of the bloom. The brightest section might be just a tad too bright on some monitors. One thing you could try is a duplicate layer with multiply blending mode, then scaled back in opacity and "erased" from those areas it makes too dark.

I'm drawn to those interesting fuzzy bits hidden under the bloom. Am I allowed to look at those??
Sorry.. got off track. I really like this image... colors are so complementary, and the view unusual. |

| Interesting perspective...love the fine blue fuzzies...kind of old with the water droplets though...people need to lay off those a bit. Great color and composition though. 7. |
