 The lights in the distance are Cape Town. One of those shots where I got lucky with the perfect exposure time. The long exposure really brought out some fantastic colours. Hoping to do all right with this one. My ultimate goal for DPC is taking a ribbon in a free study. Don't know if this is good enough, but lets see.

Used a 3 stop grad filter.

Processing:
- Distortion correction
- Noise reduction
- Crop
- Cloned out a little light and a spot where some water spray was on the lens
- Brightened and darkened selectively with curves
- Boosted contrast a tad
- Resize
- Sharpen
- Save for web

8 - Beautiful long exposure. Wish the composition was a little more balanced overall, especially when your title draws me to the 'distance'.
