This is Kari Ann, greetings from the Critique Club:

composition: I personally love the composition. it seems more natural than if it were centered in the frame.

color: great black and white tones, especially love the dark water

contrast: maybe a little less in the lower left hand side of the frame would help set the bucket off more in the frame.

focus: great focus, clear.

depth of field: again, good depth of field, and all is in focus clearly

lighting: those leaves and feather are what really draw me in. I love how they pop out of the dark abyss of the water bucket. And the light dancing amongst the straw is really a treat.

other: An overall beautiful image in my eyes. The only downfall that i can possibly see is the composition. while I like it, most probably would have liked it more in the centre. to each their own. Keep up the interesting and inspiring work.
If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me anytime.

This is a view my wife has become very familiar with over the years, and was up until recently (thank science for some wonderful anti-nausea drugs) again experiencing several time a day... though he bucket lacked the feathers.

Nice image. I love the feathers and the processing. Initially, I wasn't sure about the composition, though the more I look at it, the better the non-centred bucket is. I perhaps may have not cropped so close to the handle on the left, and may have cropped out the bar at the bottom of the image... and perhaps straighten the horizontal bars...

I don't see this as a very dynmaic subject. To me, there isn't anything really going on here. Perhaps if it were in color something would pop.

This meets the challenge well. I would like to see more details in the dark parts.
