Hi from the CC Club and Tucson!!!

What you have here is a collared lizard, she is also full of eggs. You can tell by the red splotches. Nice capture.

S impressions, a little more sharpness, some contrast, and a little saturation. In the wild you will find that these are about the right colour, but the orangey splotches are usually vivid red, so you could have got away with some more saturation. maybe even a closer crop so your attention is completely on her and not the surrounding blurred rock. Technically, it is from above, just to the side as well. I do not know much about Picassa, so not sure what to tell you about PP work.

Great lizard! But too bad this isn't really above him. To the side and slightly higher is not the same thing. 3 just because I like the photo - otherwise it would be a 1.

Nice looking lizard. These are hard to capture well since they blend in with their surroundings.
