 this was taken with a tripod, looking up from under a tree on a very sunny day with a strong breeze blowing the tree branches around

output looked much like this, but with lower contrast and range - I processed the same photo 2 times (one b&w with more contrast, one bluish toned monochrome with even more contrast), then blended the bluish one in Soft Light with the b&w one. And this is what I got... all those twinkly bits in the middle were there from the beginning.

My pc has slowed down so waited an age for this to load but enjoyed the time it took and thought it was a christmas tree whilst it opened up. I do think your a LB purist and your profile is showing the LB as your only lens now! Now thats radical girl!

Thisa really is a cool shot. I love what the LB does with backlighting. Great subject for this type of lighting. It looks as if it could be the cover of an X-Files movie.
