 This is Maya, the 8 month old jaguar at the Palm Beach Zoo.

After the challenge, I re-edited this photo to take advantage of some more advanced spot editing. I followed the advice of a few people and desaturated the rocks a little and touched up in a few other areas.

Hey Tammy, I didn't vote in this challenge but I can't believe that you only got 5.69 for this. Nice clarity and detail. My only change might be to tone down the orange in the rocks a bit to make Maya 'pop' a little more. Otherwise a very nice image.

Love the angle of the shot. Brightening up the eyes I think would make it even better (me thinks).

that is one beautiful cat. i like the sharpness and pov of the shot. since bg color is the same as cat's, the impact of the shot diminishes a lot. overall a good photo.
