Photograph of my wife in our home dining room.
Single 580EX II on remote using ST-E2.
Flash through a homemade diffuser, Vallum paper over a wooden frame.

Photoshop RAW editor: Crop, exposure, shadow, contrast, desaturate.
Photoshop: Add border, resize, save as jpg.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Excellent photo and B&W conversion, although I'm not fond of the frame.

Excellent. I do not think it needs so much border. The image could stand on its own. Good use of contrast.

too much gray. stomach i believe is center of photo and is brightest
