I was down by the beach looking at things to shoot for the Panning side challenge. This wasn't a good enough catch, but I really liked the light and the colors. I did a little Ortonizing to take advantage of the motion blur, and liked the result. I know that bus says Waterfront Shuttle, but I also know that it's taking these folks into outer space!

Some comments on the challenge entry said the colors look fake. They aren't, really. I did push them a little, but this was shot about half a block from the beach on a sunny day. There's light reflecting off the water and a lot of white buildings. It's bright...!

As Hajeka says it'd be nice to have a point of focus here, but all the same, it's a nice portrayal of where you live. I like the colours quite a bit but I also feel you could probably b&w this and give it an overlay if you wanted to add to it.

I think your challenge entry looks great,but I didn't vote on that one :( Here I'm missing a point of focus, but I like the sunny view and the nice colors.
