To answer a couple of questions from comments...

The colors in 'Big Meadow' in the springtime are extremely vibrant and I actually pulled the saturation down some on the yellows and reds. Here's a couple of examples of what this area looks like (saturation not adjusted on the following):

To answer Karen's question, I did use a soft filter by xero that gives it a bit of a "glow". :-)

really like this...but IMO I think you might have pushed the color just a tab much...but and excellent capture none the less

lol.. pretty unique shot- not sure my first thought when seeing an animal this close was ever to take a picture of a human being.. so i like it!
