This a bronze teddy-bear-and-blocks sculpture, very large, outside the Children's Hospital at Tufts New England Medical Center.

I just snapshotted the sculpture for the heck of it when I was up there that week, and it turned out the entire week was rainy and I had nothing better for ground up...

I had other views that showed more of the teddy bear (his face for example) but there were horrible figure/ground problems with ugly buildings, flagpoles, and so forth, so I went with this tight crop.

I saw this and thought of FAO Schwartz for some reason. I really liked the textures on the boxes. Also fun is the "O" box stretching into the corner. Cool shot.

I liked it. Gave it a 6. Crop was a bit tight for me. Where/what is this?

I like the texture of the blocks but not a fan of the crop.

This doesn't come across as 'from the ground up' for me because there is nothing leading me into the shot (giving the ground perspective) Would like to see a more vertical aspect from the camera for this challenge.

The blown out sky really pulls my eye away from the main elements in the scene. I wonder if getting closer and then shooting from a lower angle would minimize the amount of sky we see.

A nice capture and fantastic subject, but the angle somehow fell short.
