 The mountain bluebirds, Sialia currucoides, are my favorites. They are the nicest birds, with the most pleasant personalities. I've been tracking several aspen trunk cavity nests. The one pictured below will be "a joy to watch" for several more weeks.

Proud of his mate, his offspring and his territory, this male takes flight with the obvious joy of life.

Nice capture buuuuut i think there are way better images that say "ZEN" than this.

Wonderful capture !!! I would have cropped the tree out so that the shot would meet the Zen theme better. With the tree out, the shot becomes a lot simpler and more pleasing to look at. 6
