| Funny, I thought I'd commented on this one. What I really like about this is the foreground blur - whether that is a leaf in front of the camera or simply the reflection in the moving water, it creates a sense of depth and perhaps a bit of mystery. I suspect, however, that it may off-put some viewers, who will spend too much effort trying to figure out what it is rather than if they like it or not. The green toning suits this quite nicely. Conveys a cool, peacefulness. Composition is pretty good but that may be a bit of a weak area - form a conventional photography standpoint, it doesn't lead anywhere. From my standpoint, that's fine, but others may disagree. |
