Adams was a photographer with an eye for the simple and while there are elements of that in this image, it is much to busy to truly evoke an impression of Adams or even an homage. However, as a duo tone image, it works on several levels and technically, is a good demonstration of tone control even if it's overly gray. |

It's a beautiful landscape, the photo itself is a little too low contrasty for me as in there are blacks missing atleast on my screen, especially since Ansel Adams was so good at handling the tones in black and white images.
I do love the tiny figures off to the side there. |

this is really, really well done..but you have a haziness that is hanging in the middle of your shot...did you do a gradient...I really think that would have improved that area...your water is so very richly toned as you sky is...but the center of the picture (mountains) is quite hazy |
