Three drops of water on a blue piece of card. Printed a big number 3 and put that on a light box to the right of the setup thus giving the reflection in the drops. Wasn't happy that you could see the fibres of the card so put the radial blur (after checking with the SC)- Tony

Nice shot. The zoom effect looks okay, but I think I would have preferred it normal.

Lens zooming during the exposure or post processing? It adds an interesting effect - not sure if it fits the subject, but I think I would prefer this shot with the effect, rather than without.

Ow, this makes me dizzy to look at. Love the colors and the crisp focus of the middle drop, but the dizzy-ing effect is, well, dizzy-ing. 8

That's a very cool idea, but it makes my eyes hurt to look at it! Love that color.

I do really like this, a great idea for the challenge, the blue was a good choice of colour because of the water droplets. However, did you use post-processing to get the blurred effect? I think I would have liked all three of the droplets to have been more in focus. I can't decide if the middle one looks a tiny bit oversharpened, the lower part of the 3's curve seems a little jagged, but then I like how I can see the texture through the middle bubble. If I could vote a half mark here I would give you 9 1/2, but I'll bump it up coz I'm nice...

Not sure if this is a filter or a zoom technique. Either way, i think the shot might have been better with good, sharp focus through all three. I like the color and reflection.
