This is great! Looks like polished lava rocks. The light and shadow effects give this some life. A 9.

I would have made all the background white. Good photo.

Nice enough but how would it look with more diffuse lighting?

your lighting is way too harsh, composition is quite boring; crop at bottom is too close IMO
