In a split second.... so many things to get just right. Pose, line, focus, exposure, getting the attention of those ADD-tendency students. So it is all very well to speak with 20/20 hindsight. But I bet you would have avoided the lake-shore/head coincidence given a second chance and had a couple of good portable strobes on stands too to bring up the light on their faces. That's a small class by NYC standards as well. My daughter's rents the Beacon Theatre on Broadway to be able to accomodate the class this year..
