Nice bright sunny capture. I like the background, it does tend to compete with the daisies but overall the composition is quite nice.

LOL - part of the fun of photography is how each person would post-process a certain image.

Sure, if it was mine, I'd crop it differently, but it's yours, and it's fun.

BTW, I always chuckle when I see your BassBone name.
I am a former trombone player, and lifelong admirer of both the lines, and the balance in the hand, of the instrument and its lovely tones.

Hi , Peter ---I like the BG as it helps give me the mood of the image- dappled sun,early morning beautiful disaray (sp) of daisies . If i can "feel" an image -there are no rules broken - that's my philosophy :)

you might be right about the bg. it's a little busy and perhaps a tighter crop would focus on the detail of the white flower more, imo.
