 A bit of the aftermath of a 27-car derailment in my hometown.

Luck was on our side - it was a freight train, not a passenger train. 99% of the carnage was contained between the fencing on the sides of the tracks. But best of all - not a single person was injured !

Wow - that is a mess! This is an excellent photojournalism type of shot - you've done a good job capturing the scene, I think. Crisp, clear, shows the aftermath with enough of a view to see what happened but close enough to show some details. Nice work!

oops...anyone hurt? your focus is excellent and your processing is great...but for a freestudy this is a tough entry
