 This blackbird lost most of the plumage on his scalp. I first noticed the injury a couple of weeks ago, but he is slowly healing, and seems to be thriving. I wonder if a cat got him, but he won the fight?

Aww, poor guy. Nice that he hangs around so you can check up on him. Gorgeous photo - excellent detail, very nice bokeh to isolate and highlight him.
