 I'm astonished to be using 3200 ISO at 11:30 in the morning, under a cloudy sky. A black umbrella makes a BG for this cute little lily.

Glad to see you are enjoying this side challenge. I like the idea of trying to think creatively about what the camera can do. What is amazing is how good these images look! I think you image here, while not as sharp as a tripod ISO 100 shot, has a bit of character to it. Your colors are well saturated, and the grain adds something.
