All right, here we go!

After cloning out the little white spot in the lower right, I used Topaz Adjust (newly purchased and legit and stuff!) Photo Pop, followed by Portrait Drama. Portrait Drama brought back a lot of light into the background - not what we're going for in this side challenge! - so I had to do some burning, which was tricky around the whiskers. Then I had to dodge a little where his fur wasn't looking very shiny and clean...hehe.

I'm looking forward to getting better at this technique over the course of the month!

Oh, he looks like he knows he is all that...:-) I love his pose, that little tilt of the head. Would probably look good in b&w too!

Leo is a beautiful cat. You've done a pretty good job of the burning.

Rather than try to dodge around the whiskers, just select the background (whiskers included) and use curves to darken everything. The whiskers are white enough that they will survive. :- )
