Unusual this year, anyway, as it is not one of our 17-year cicada invasions.

Liked the shell at an angle to the grain of the wood I put him on and the bokeh as the wood faded out of focus.

Oh; had the 36mm extension tube on.

PP - converted from RAW, white balance, 2nd layer (dodged shell, merged in Multiply mode), touched up sensor dust, increased contrast, added border, resized, sharpened.
