Again used for coursework and i believe it to be better than my Grunge entry.

The photo seems less attractive due to lowering the pixel resolution ( dont know if this does anything but to me, it seems like its changed how clean it looks)

Anyway be as harsh- yet professional, or kind, as you like, just bare in mind ive been doing photography as an amater.

Thanks guys, nice feedback.

To the Bmilne and SonnieJack;
i can see where your coming from and Muckpond has also said, about the blending, i couldnt help that as when i took the shot it was dark to begin with,
also i mentioned about the resolution, which im standing by the reason for its graininess.

I prefer emotion to sensless snaps, i prefer to take time to put work up, hence why i have so few images up.

to ChromeyDome, i find it kind but funny that youd give me an award, as i have done photography for a year at AS level.

Alls well that ends well, im thankful for all this feedback, negative or not.
I believe your helping me to clean my errors.

greetings from the critique club!

i'm a huge fan of this kind of "slice of life" photography, so this photo immediately does it for me. what killed your score, my guess, is the fact that people didn't see how it fit into the challenge.

because the two individuals are so blended into the background, it's easy to miss the 2nd person (if not just the first). therefore, most voters probably didn't get the "friends" connection.

otherwise, i think the lighting and composition are great, and i love the black and white coloring. very timeless, very cool.

Just spotted this in the PostLuminous thread and I think it's an amazing shot! It's got so much more mood and feeling than most of the shots entered for this challenge and I think it definitely deserves to be sitting well ahead of all the 'silhoueted people on the horizon' shots!

I think you're score probably suffered because it's the kind of shot you need to take the time to look at to appreciate.

I had to focus a little harder to see that there is another person in the seat. Would of liked it if they were more focused.

wish it were a little less grainy
