 The original is a Lensbaby of a boat moored off Butterfly Beach. I used curves to get a cross-processed look, and then used a duplicate curves layer to get the whitish look. The overlay is a NASA shot of the moon combined with a green overlay made from the background of another shot. (Can't remember which one.) I masked out the bottom portion of the Lensbaby shot to make the sky darker.

This is brilliant, Germaine. I love your creativity in the processing. The end result is amazing. Funny, I heard that song this morning and was thinking about possible illustrations, and lo and behold, here is a fantastic one.
