 I was very lazy, and didn't do justice to this beautiful orchid in the original capture. I'll be taking a lot more though, because it is my favorite orchid, and this is only the second time it has bloomed in 8 years.

However, this was an interesting exercise for Topaz, and I think that while this is not a "silk purse", at least it's no longer a "sows ear".

- Levels
- TA exposure and color pop on same layer with a gradient mask on the lower half
- TA HDR mild preset, with a mask. That put the light in the center of the leaves and around the blossom
- CS3 Omni Light filter to brighten the flower.
- USM for contrast
- Color Balance
- TA custom sharpening and noise reduction
- Adamus sharpen

You've got the patience of a saint to nourish a plant that blooms every 8 years!
