I much prefer this one over the previous 'I still have a bright future'. To me, that one is almost glamourizing teen pregnancy, a sort of have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too scenario. I am old enough to remember the good ol' days, when, if you saw a teenage girl pushing a stroller, she was the babysitter. Nowadays she is much more likely to be the mom. I blame this whole trend is due to young celebs having kids and toting them about like handbags; it's like, give birth to the latest hottest fashion accessory.
Thing is, these celebs can afford a bazillion nannies and caretakers while they work out 4 hours a day in the gym and get plastic surgery (or whatever) to lose the stretchmarks etc. The rest of the world, ie us, can't afford such luxuries.
This one is much more realistic and down to earth. Motherhood is a TREMENDOUS reponsibility...part of the reason I opted out of having children, and I am the daughter of an OB/GYN! Also I got pregnant when I was 30, by a man who definitely did not love me nor want to have kids with me, and I didn't want to be a single mom, so I terminated the pregnancy.
FWIW, the best ever teen pregnancy poster I ever saw was a b/w, a girl's belly shot straight on, saying (if I remember correctly): 'If you're embarrassed by a pimple, trying explaining this.' |

Like this one much better.
I laughed out loud at the stretch marks title. I know that it's inconsequential, but I like the humor. I don't think anyone, teens included are going to look at the poster and believe that stretch marks are the biggest problem here. But it is possible that the judges will find it a little frivolous--I don't know... I think it's a great idea.
btw, if you go with the motherhood angle instead, you can simplify it--Sex last a minute, motherhood lasts a lifetime.
(even if the person leaves, never speaks to the kids after graduating, the child still wonders, suffers, thinks about, hates, loves, etc the mother.)

The text is not really specific for teen pregnancy - it's probably true for every pregnancy.
Furthermore:
If a woman wants to have a child - who cares about the stretch marks.
If a woman doesn't want to have a child I don't think stretch marks are her primary concern.
My suggestion for the second line would go into the direction of "Your responsability lasts forever/18 years/until he/she lives his/her own life" (also true for any pregnancy but maybe more in the direction of what you want to convey).

| i prefer this one to the other one..i'd love to see this in black and white..and maybe make it a high contrast..clever wording also haha |
