Last minute entry. It's 2.00am when I set up my miniature entry on the counter. Placed a black carton in the back. Light comes from a spotlight above the counter, covered it with a paper towel. Went outside with my flashlight to pick some green and flowers in the garden. The little house is made of carton. It's a box, containing photos of house of a friend we tore down brick by brick, many years ago. He made that little photobox as a thank you for all the help.
I put tinfoil on a wooden breadboard and covered it with grained coffie. Brushed it away for the 'pond'. Put the flowers around and took about 40 pictures, hand held or resting my camera on the butter dish, playing with shutterspeed and aperture. This is the best that came out, but I'm still not very satisfied about it. Great loss of detail in the flowers after resizing, so I think I will get bashed for that.
The green/flowers are Spiraea, Hawthorn, medlar and leaves of columbine.
PP: cropping, sharpening, curves, contrast, bit of NI, bit of saturation on the flowers, unsharp mask and all that several times in random order.
Ok, it's 2.52am now and time to hit the sack. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Predicting somewhere in the mid 5. I hope.
