Shot from 2003 with my old 2mp P&S.

Two topaz layers - portrait smooth for the flowers at about 60% opacity - psycho for the rocks and waves at about 80% opacity.

There is no place like Maine in the summer! Wish I were there! What a perfect spot you found.

Nice combination on the layers. Great idea to treat the foreground and middle ground differently. I wonder if the background (distant water and sky) would benefit from a gradient mask on that second layer. I have been noticing that when Topaz enhances the details on the entire image, it seems to flatten the DOF. I'm thinking that by reducing the detail in the far background, you would regain that feeling of extreme distance that is present in the original.

Yes, good one, and good idea. I must remember to mix n match the settings as you've shown it to be effective.

I love that you got the rocks and waves nice and crunchy without overdoing the flowers. Great job!
