Poor Rudy the snake, he did not enjoy this modeling session at all. The knight is about five inches tall, the moss is from the snake's terrarium and the background is an 8.5" x 11" print of Kilkenny Castle in Ireland that I found on line at Wikimedia Commons. I did clone out a few folks walking on the lawn.
I was trying to get a N.C.Wyeth, Maxfeild Parish, "Boy's Own Magazine" old fashioned feel to this so I ran it through, I think, every single Topaz filter. May be I missed one, but some I did twice. I was trying to bring out the similarity between the scales of the mail and the snake's scales.
