Great texture and tone, however the middle footprint lacks detail and contrast with the rest of the sand and therefore the image feels a little out of balance.

Also, the image feels a little static due to the central location of the line of footprints. A diagonal placement of the footprints could possibly add impact by adding a bit of tension to the image.

Sand, as with snow, plays tricks on the camera's light meter, however you seem to have got the exposure right for the lighting conditions.

Keep shooting.

Looked at this shot loads of times, took ages to work out if you had done something to make the footprints 3D... I really like this shot, great idea for the challenge, well done!

Very simple yet effective study of textures. May be a bit more dramatic if the composition was more on the diagonal. Better lighting - right close to sundown would relly make it pop. Overall an excellent job!

This is an interesting optical illusion. It appears as though this photo were turned upside down? With the shadows on top, it appears that the footprints rise off the sand, rather than being depressed into the sand. Anyway, I like this simple concept and I also enjoy your lighting and tones.

Beautiful shot. Not much you could do to improve it.
To me, the foot print on the left doesn't look as deep as the other two, maybe it is the lighting. 8

Nice idea - two foot prints isn't enough to show a walk - add the third an the meaning is clear! I like the light and texture - I wonder if a diagonal composition would be more interesting?

Nice idea, you could have included the ocean and a bit of sky to give a sense of place.
