 Hope you like my new Gerbera, as I enjoyed photographing the wonderful color, detail and textures it has. This is one of a series of 'Monet' style photos of my new 'Gerbera' flowering plant that Peter gave me for Mothers Day. I have not taken a photo since November 2008 due to my health. I hope you enjoy this "Monet' series of photos..... love shez

What draws me to this pic is the fact that it looks like another world.

Enjoy them indeed! This is very painterly and while the colours are very like a range from a pallette, the petals themselves are like impasto brush strokes.
