Late visitor to our backyard feeder. I think the pose and dark background makes this a unique capture. I didn't get a chance to try to do anything for the noise.

Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate your input.

Interesting viewpoint for a hummingbird shot alright - don't think I have EVER seen one from below. Well done.

Very unusual, indeed, to see a hummingbird at night. The whole thing is a bit noisy but that is probably hard to avoid. The crop seems rather tight near the beak.

Fantastic motion grab, a bit noisy but superb nonetheless.

I detect just a trace of noise in the background, otherwise nearly perfect, hope it does well

Not sure what you had to work with but the positioning in the picture seems a little odd. Nice capture though.

Very unusual and sharp (despite the jpg specs). Cool shot!

Not too bad of a capture......these are such speedy fellows! Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) I love them.

Nice capture. I would have cropped it so that the bird was centered. Noisy and pixelated background, neat image could have removed that.

Amazing, of course.

Wow! That had to be quite a hutter speed. I'd love to see the cropping more cenetered, but it's hard not to appreciate a shot like this knowing it's not easy to come by.

It looks kind of flat, like cut out picture from somewhere.

Hard to rate this shot as the noise is so extreme due I suppose to a very fast ISO. Credit for capturing the bird in difficult conditions but suffers from poor quality.

A tricky shot to take i would guess but lots of noise in the wings and tail. ISO 3200 or D70 i guess :)
