There is something about a giraffe that you just have to love. Personally I feel that the subject is too "dead center" for this photo to be as good as its potential. If you cropped the tree trunk out of the left part of the photo it would move his eyes into the top left "rule of thirds" position. The exposure is very nice, no harsh shadows or glaring highlights. Good photo, with the possibily or becoming great with a little work.

I'd of preferred the tree cropped out of the shot. There is just too much going on with the fence and the post. It's a dandy shot, good luck in the challenge.
