This is my sister, Chloe. She is just over 7 months pregnant with her first child and my first nephew.
We decided to take a few photos of her today but she refused to have her face in them!! Unfortunately the tape measure was a last minute addition and it's not the most well composed image, sorry!
I think without the tape measure it would have been much less interesting aesthetically. The photo needs something in the middle of the bump to break it up a bit and the tape measure does beautifully. Her hand(s) would probably have done well too. This is beautiful and something your sister can cherish.
Nice shot, beautifully lit, simply composed and meaningful. And probably taken at the optimum moment - at this stage she still has beautiful skin - no stretch marks. Good luck to her in staying that way! And good luck to her for the coming event.
