This was a hard one today. First took two images, a sparrow and bloodroot, then I sized them to be the same. After that I had to extract the sparrow and branch so I could paste it into the bloodroot. Then I took a dry media brush called charcoal scraping and brushed over entire image at 65% opacity. Next was to add a photo overlay called carving at 76%. Finally I added a black fill layer as soft light at 19%. I don't really like the end result, but it was an interesting process anyway.

I am trying to decide if I like the bird coming out of the flower or not...but I really like how you transformed the flower...that is really cool...so it is a mixed review...:0
