 Here's the flag out in front of the State Dept building. I did a little more processing with this one:

- TA Exposure Color Stretch to get the sky more blue.
- Copied a new layer of the original image on top & masked out the sky.
- TA Neutralizer on the new layer to brighten up the flag.
- Flattened image & applied Dry Brush filter to smooth everything out and give it a painted look.

i love this painted look and the mottled sky. It's like a subtle mosaic - very cool.

That sky is wonderful! You did a great job at bringing out detail for the painting effect. I like how the flagpole cuts diagonally through the image, and that golden eagle on top is the perfect topper. A beautiful tribute to old glory :-)
